Pups With Purpose
We aren’t just a breeder, we’re an active part of our community. We love to give back, aiming to inspire and support our friends, neighbors, and the next generation of servant-hearted leaders throughout the Lowcountry and beyond.
Pups With Purpose helps us do just that in three ways!
1- Community Outreach
When pups turn 6 weeks old, we begin venturing out into the community to spread snuggles and joy wherever we go. Our pups are on a mission to learn socialization skills and to make each day a little brighter for others. They have brought a lot of comfort to patients, shoppers, staff & students in the Lowcountry. We soon hope to gain entry into nursing homes and pediatric wards to spread some tail wags and puppy kisses.
2- Guardian’s Giving
Our pups have local, national, and global reach as we support organizations and ministries with our breeding program. From helping children in Uganda or our brave soldiers, to sponsoring local citizens striving to overcome abuse or addiction, we want to comfort others with the comfort we ourselves have received. (2 Corinthians 1:4).
When Dams in our Guardianship program have a litter, her family gets to choose which ministry will be supported by a donation from PMP.
Details regarding the ministries we trust and fully support can be found in the Guardian Giving section, which includes:
Little Sheep Ministries, Hope and Help International, Cadence International, Called to Peace Ministries, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Pre-Born! & Still Worthy.
Part 3- Mentorship and Volunteering
We invite youth, young adults, and families to join in our day-to-day activities at PMP to foster a greater love and respect for animals. We want to empower and equip the next generation in the awesome responsibility and privilege of caring for furry friends. Those who sign up for a visit learn about early puppy infant care, vaccinations, procedures, and business practices. Some students have even attended births! Some of our guests even aspire to work with animals as their profession. We are here to support their interests in any way we can! Reach out for more information.
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:17
